1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy applies to the Just Wishlist application (formerly known as "E2E Wishlist") (the "Service") provided by The SaaSy People Ltd. ("we," "us," or "our").The Service is designed to function as a native extension of the Shopify platform. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting the information processed through our application. This policy explains what information is collected, how it is used, and how it is stored within the Shopify ecosystem.

3. How the Service Works & Data Storage
Just Wishlist is a "Built for Shopify" application. Unlike many third-party apps, we do not maintain external servers or databases to store your customer's wishlist data.
Native Storage:
All wishlist data is stored directly within your Shopify store's database (specifically using Shopify Metafields attached to Customer and Product resources) or locally on the user's device.
Data Control: Because the data resides on Shopify's platform, you (the Merchant) retain full ownership and control over the data at all times.

4. Information We Collect
To provide wishlist functionality, the Service processes the following types of information:

A. Customer Data (Shoppers)
Customer ID: Used to link wishlist items to a specific registered customer account.
Wishlist Content: The list of Product IDs and Variant IDs that a customer has saved.
Collection Names: Custom names created by customers for their specific lists (e.g., "Christmas," "Birthday").

B. Device Information (Guest Users)
For users who are not logged in, we use:
Browser Local Storage / Cookies: To persist wishlist items across sessions on the same device. This data remains on the user's device and is not transmitted to us.

C. Merchant Analytics
We generate aggregated, anonymous reports displayed in your Shopify Admin dashboard, such as:"Top Wishlisted Items"Total number of active wishlists. This data is derived directly from your store's live data at the moment of viewing; we do not harvest or archive this data externally.

5. How We Use Information
We use the collected information strictly to provide the Service's core functionality:
Wishlist Management: To allow customers to save products, create multiple collections, and retrieve them later.
Display Logic: To modify your store's theme to show "Heart" icons and "Added to Wishlist" statuses on relevant products.
Analytics: To provide you with insights into which products are most popular among your customers.

6. Data Sharing and Third Parties
We do not sell data. Because the app runs natively on Shopify, data flow is primarily between the User's browser and the Shopify platform.
Shopify: As the host platform, Shopify processes and stores all data associated with the Service. You can review Shopify’s privacy policy here.
Sub-processors: We do not use external sub-processors for data storage.

7. Data Retention and Deletion
Retention: Wishlist data is retained within your Shopify store for as long as the Customer account exists or until the customer manually removes items.
App Uninstallation: If you uninstall Just Wishlist, the application code is removed from your theme. However, because the data is stored in Shopify Metafields, the wishlist data may remain attached to customer records in your Shopify database until manually deleted or cleaned up.

8. Your Rights and GDPR
As the data resides within your Shopify ecosystem, data subject requests (such as "Right to Access" or "Right to be Forgotten") should be managed through your standard Shopify customer data tools. If a customer contacts us directly regarding their data, we will direct them to you (the Merchant), as you are the Data Controller for their store interactions.

9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time to reflect changes to our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons.
