1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Facebook to Intercom Integration application (the "Service") provided by The SaaSy People Ltd. ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
The Service is a middleware application designed to synchronise data between the Meta (Facebook) Graph API and the Intercom Platform. Specifically, the Service facilitates:
The transfer of Facebook comments to Intercom as conversation items.
The creation of Intercom conversations from Facebook Direct Messages (DMs).
The ability to reply to these interactions via the Intercom interface.
3. Account Requirements and Responsibilities
To use the Service, you must:
Possess a valid account with Intercom.
Possess a valid Facebook account with Administrative privileges for the Facebook Page you wish to connect.
Have the authority to bind the entity (company or organisation) associated with these accounts to these Terms.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
4. Dependence on Third-Party Platforms
You acknowledge that the Service is dependent on the availability and functionality of third-party platforms, specifically Meta (Facebook) and Intercom.
API Changes: We are not responsible for any interruption to the Service caused by changes to the API, terms of service, or privacy policies of Meta or Intercom.
Platform Bans: We are not liable if your access to Facebook or Intercom is suspended or terminated by those providers.
Service Availability: We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, particularly where such interruptions are caused by third-party outages.
5. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its underlying code, architecture, and design, is the property of The SaaSy People Ltd. and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service solely for your internal business operations.
6. Data Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which outlines how we collect, use, and store your data. By using the Service, you consent to the data practices described in our Privacy Policy.
7. Prohibited Uses
You agree not to use the Service to:
Violate any applicable national or international laws.
Transmit any material that is defamatory, offensive, or otherwise objectionable.
Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any aspect of the Service.
Send spam or unsolicited messages via the integration.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, The SaaSy People Ltd. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:
Your use or inability to use the Service.
Any conduct or content of any third party on the Service.
Unauthorised access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content.
In no event shall our aggregate liability exceed the amount you paid us, if any, for the Service in the past six months.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. The SaaSy People Ltd. expressly disclaims all warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including, but not limited to, the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
10. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in England for the resolution of any disputes.
12. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
